6. My view on social networks

6). 'Social networks don't bring us closer together as we talk through computers and not to each other'

I personally believe that social networks bring us closer together because without social networks many people would have never of knowen about others and the world would not be as connected as everyone is now. Social media is also helping people make plans to see each other, all it takes is a quick message and everythings sorted. They open people up to so many other opportunities that woulden't be available without social media, it has made loads of jobs that have connected people more than before. Although I realise that why people may think that computer don't bring us together as a lot of people obsess about there profiles and what people think of them online and spend to much time doing this and not actually speaking face to face, but I think that this is is only a small problem against how much it helps people.

5 things i would do and why

1. A song or a sample from a song, this would help because it could attract more fans of the music.

2. Have links to other social medias so people who use different social medias will know about them.

3. Put some of the songs of places like Bandcamp and other websites that many people use for music, this would help people find them.

4. Have small concerts to promote the them, this would help because people around that area could bring friends to spread the word. 

5. Get people to talk about what is happening e.g. what is happening  and to get people involved in what there doing.

Mostly me and my friends on Facebook like to share things like music videos and sometimes news about certain websites. This benefits the artist of the music and the popularity of websites and spreading the word.  Other people might share funny videos to brighten their day or because they really like the video and they want other people to watch  the video. Sometimes my friends share adverts for albums and movies to recommend to each other.

Things that I have noticed about my Internet use is that it is I don't vary from many websites. I realised this when I went to make a 'wordle' and realised I had only been on three websites in a day. I also don't think that it was time well spent as I didn't realise that I was doing nothing. When on these websites I don't really achieve anything and end up procrastinating things like cleaning my room, homework among other things.
