Task 2: Creativity and Originality

         Creativity


I don't agree with Herman Melville's quote I believe that you can still be creative in imitation as everyone has their own style as well as there own way on doing a project. If someone was to 'fail in originality' then someone would have to imitate them to ensure that the idea would succeed and even if the original idea succeeded there would always be room for improvement.





A real world example of this would be the two Telltale games 
'The walking dead' as well as 'Tales from the Borderlands' they come from the same company, have the same game mechanic (point and click) as well as the same art style yet are able to target completely different people and have different emotive storys
